Reinhart's Barn Weddings // Kayla + Ian

Before every wedding day, I send my clients a detailed questionnaire. Mostly questions regarding their day, what time is hair and makeup, are you doing a first look, the list goes on... But at the end of every one of these, I ask my couples to share a little about their love story. I don't typically share this, mostly because, I just love getting to know my bride + grooms and thats all its really for. But when Kayla wrote some lovely things about their love story, I just had to share for todays blog post. I figured, what better way to explain a little bit about them than through the words of the Bride.

Ian is my best friend. There are 3 things that I cannot live without, him, our dog Presley, and ice cream (and they go in that order!) That is why he proposed to me at our local go to ice cream spot, Candy’s (which will be served at our wedding). Nothing could bring us down (even the diagnosis of cancer) from the pure excitement and joy we have knowing we will soon be joined as one. God truly designed us for one another, Ian being strong in areas I lack, and vise versa. We feel so blessed to have found each other as young as we did. That just means all the longer our forever with each other gets to start off. We hope our wedding day captivates and celebrates the love God has put in our hearts for not only each other, but our awesome family and friends!

Your wedding day absolutely captured the love you two share, not only for each other, your family + friends but God. With that, I think its the perfect time to share their wedding day bliss. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Zellers!

Brookmere Winery & Vineyard // Emily + Brent

Emily and Brent had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Brookmere Winery and Vineyard Inn. The two found each other when they were least expecting love. They met while still in high school at a beef cattle show. In nine years together, they have accomplished so much. From living in 7 cities to achieving four academic degrees, you could say that they have been pretty busy!

Their wedding day was nothing short of amazing. Emily wore a gorgeous sweetheart style dress while Brent was dressed in a light grey tux. During the first look, you could see how happy the two were and I knew from that moment that the whole day would be full of so much love. From the floral bouquets to the rustic style decor, everything came together beautifully. I am so glad I got to be a part of their special day!

Harrisburg Engagement Session // Hannah + David

Almost 6 months ago I launched my new website. AHH! I can't believe how time flies. Hannah won my big launch giveaway. She chose to have her engagement photos taken and I'm literally swooning over how amazing it went.

First and foremost, how adorable are Hannah and David? Then, they show up with not one, but two perfectly paired outfits. DYING. I adored getting to know them more and I pray their wedding day will be filled with a lot more love, laughter and even a few tears. (happy ones of course!)

Check out their Harrisburg engagement session below!

Austin + Leanda // Rainy wedding day with a side of sunshine

I can't praise Leanda + Austin enough for being absolute troopers throughout their day. It wasn't scheduled to rain until after their ceremony but we all know how Mother Nature likes to play tricks on us. It started spitting rain within 5 minutes of walking down the aisle. If you ask me, it made for one heck of a story + images that you'll never forget!

Not only did they stick out the rain throughout the ceremony, they were even willing to get wet for portraits. We never really know when the rain will stop on a wedding day, it may or it may not. So I like to get them done as soon as possible so we have them done and we don't miss anything. As luck would have it, later when the skies cleared, I said "Lets go back out!" (it was super laid back and I love wedding days like this!). Leanda + Austin headed back out for more portraits without an umbrella this time. What do you know, we get the most beautiful golden hour shortly after. Who would have known that a forecast for rain all day and a few heavy rain showers would all lead to gorgeous images with even a rainbow.

We ended the night with the closest of friends + family and if you ask me, it was the perfect ending!

PS. Can we also give a big clap to that wedding party who trusted me in the pouring rain so I could get 2 minutes of party portraits? YOU DA BOMB.
