Whispering Oaks Vineyard // Alexandra + Dave

This wedding was a double header, double winery wedding weekend for me and Alex + Dave tied the knot with lots of friends and family surrounding them!

I'm literally falling head over heels for the green, gold, and navy blue from this wedding. Alex + Dave do classic so well. Wedding goals right here and don't miss Penny, she reminds me of my KoKo. She was so sweet and well behaved!

I also have to mention that it was calling for 100% chance to rain and I don't even think we saw a drop the whole time I was there. We were so blessed with a perfect day! Check out there beautiful wedding day featured on the blog!! <3

Barn Appetit // Mackenzie + Tael

I first met Mackenzie + Tael at their engagement session. They are two sweet, kind people who are adorably in love. I love hearing high school sweetheart stories, and how two eventually became one. Between glances in the halls and helping with homework in science class, Mackenzie  + Tael, started a friendship which eventually blossomed into a long lasting relationship. Que, the wedding day!

Mackenzie was absolutely glowing all day and I remember her saying, "it's just how I imagined it!". The whole day was perfect from start to finish. The details, the weather, the venue and everything went so well together to mold this wedding. Tael's father officiated the wedding which made the day even more special. One of my other favorite details was Mackenzie's grandmother made them her famous strawberry pie for a personal sweet treat on their sweetheart table.

Mackenzie, Tael and all their family + friends danced the night away - seriously some of the best dancing I've had all year! We also ended with a beautiful sparkler exit with about 30 close family members + the bridal party. I love this last exit to a fabulous day.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Agudelo!

Reinhart's Barn Weddings // Kayla + Ian

Before every wedding day, I send my clients a detailed questionnaire. Mostly questions regarding their day, what time is hair and makeup, are you doing a first look, the list goes on... But at the end of every one of these, I ask my couples to share a little about their love story. I don't typically share this, mostly because, I just love getting to know my bride + grooms and thats all its really for. But when Kayla wrote some lovely things about their love story, I just had to share for todays blog post. I figured, what better way to explain a little bit about them than through the words of the Bride.

Ian is my best friend. There are 3 things that I cannot live without, him, our dog Presley, and ice cream (and they go in that order!) That is why he proposed to me at our local go to ice cream spot, Candy’s (which will be served at our wedding). Nothing could bring us down (even the diagnosis of cancer) from the pure excitement and joy we have knowing we will soon be joined as one. God truly designed us for one another, Ian being strong in areas I lack, and vise versa. We feel so blessed to have found each other as young as we did. That just means all the longer our forever with each other gets to start off. We hope our wedding day captivates and celebrates the love God has put in our hearts for not only each other, but our awesome family and friends!

Your wedding day absolutely captured the love you two share, not only for each other, your family + friends but God. With that, I think its the perfect time to share their wedding day bliss. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Zellers!

Austin + Leanda // Rainy wedding day with a side of sunshine

I can't praise Leanda + Austin enough for being absolute troopers throughout their day. It wasn't scheduled to rain until after their ceremony but we all know how Mother Nature likes to play tricks on us. It started spitting rain within 5 minutes of walking down the aisle. If you ask me, it made for one heck of a story + images that you'll never forget!

Not only did they stick out the rain throughout the ceremony, they were even willing to get wet for portraits. We never really know when the rain will stop on a wedding day, it may or it may not. So I like to get them done as soon as possible so we have them done and we don't miss anything. As luck would have it, later when the skies cleared, I said "Lets go back out!" (it was super laid back and I love wedding days like this!). Leanda + Austin headed back out for more portraits without an umbrella this time. What do you know, we get the most beautiful golden hour shortly after. Who would have known that a forecast for rain all day and a few heavy rain showers would all lead to gorgeous images with even a rainbow.

We ended the night with the closest of friends + family and if you ask me, it was the perfect ending!

PS. Can we also give a big clap to that wedding party who trusted me in the pouring rain so I could get 2 minutes of party portraits? YOU DA BOMB.
