Backer Wedding // Pine Barn Inn - Danville, PA

Can I just tell you something friends? Brittany, her family, her girls are exactly who you envision when you think of dream clients. I wasn’t feeling well walking into this wedding. It was the beginning of a bronchial infection and THESE GIRLS, brightened my whole day. They set the tone for how truly amazing Brittany + Derrick’s wedding day would be. They were my biggest fans and if there was anything I needed, made sure to get it for me. (even as I was hacking a lung, like thats amazing!)

Derrick and Brittany met while attending Bloomsbury university and this place was held so near and dear to their hearts. They have been through SO many ups + downs while being together for 6 years and they chose the perfect day to commemorate their relationship. Their anniversary date. It was very apparent to me how much they loved each other, their friends and their family and how much they all loved them back. It was something special.

Take a peek at their delightful wedding day and the crazy party that ensued at The Pine Barn Inn.

XOXO

Bucknell University's Rooke Chapel // Kristin + Travis Rehm

Kristin + Travis are the sweetest couple and it was such a joy jumping in on their big day! The wedding took place at Bucknell University’s Rooke Chapel and then they took the party over to Pine Barn Inn for the reception. All day the couple wore ear-to-ear smiles that lit up the room. Their big hearts and love for Jesus was captivating during the ceremony. Kristin + Travis couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, which makes me believe that these two are truly made for each other.

Family is incredibly important to the Rehm’s. My heart was so full watching their families come together and share laughs, love, and cupcakes! Wishing the Rehm’s nothing but the best… Congratulations, you two!

Irem Clubhouse // Amanda + Matt

Tug at my heartstrings, why don’t ya! It was such a gorgeous day for Amanda + Matt at Irem Clubhouse in Dallas, PA. They are seriously the cutest couple ever. Both wrote love letters to each other and exchanged them before the ceremony, which took place outdoors in the most lush lawn area. They said “I do” surrounded by their super sweet friends and family. Also, summer weddings are the absolute best because of the bright, fun colors like the pops of purple Amanda + Matt incorporated. Which so happens to be my favorite color.

I had so much fun tagging along on their special day. Wishing much love and happiness to the new Mr. + Mrs. Seyers!

Austin + Leanda // Rainy wedding day with a side of sunshine

I can't praise Leanda + Austin enough for being absolute troopers throughout their day. It wasn't scheduled to rain until after their ceremony but we all know how Mother Nature likes to play tricks on us. It started spitting rain within 5 minutes of walking down the aisle. If you ask me, it made for one heck of a story + images that you'll never forget!

Not only did they stick out the rain throughout the ceremony, they were even willing to get wet for portraits. We never really know when the rain will stop on a wedding day, it may or it may not. So I like to get them done as soon as possible so we have them done and we don't miss anything. As luck would have it, later when the skies cleared, I said "Lets go back out!" (it was super laid back and I love wedding days like this!). Leanda + Austin headed back out for more portraits without an umbrella this time. What do you know, we get the most beautiful golden hour shortly after. Who would have known that a forecast for rain all day and a few heavy rain showers would all lead to gorgeous images with even a rainbow.

We ended the night with the closest of friends + family and if you ask me, it was the perfect ending!

PS. Can we also give a big clap to that wedding party who trusted me in the pouring rain so I could get 2 minutes of party portraits? YOU DA BOMB.
